Welcome to Career Community News!

Starting April 2018, the Career Development community once again has a newsletter to keep our teachers, consultants, guidance counsellors, principals, technicians, and job coaches connected and up-to-date on what’s happening and what’s new in the Anglophone sector in POP, Explo, and EN. Here you will also find articles for both new and seasoned Career Development teachers.

New to Career Development?

Each fall, and throughout the year, articles and tips for new teachers will be featured. The purpose of these articles will be to help navigate through the three programs:

Personal Orientation Project

·       Tips on setting up a classroom, the toolkits, and so much more.

Exploration of Vocational Training

·       News about student vocational trips and more.

Entrepreneurship

·       Updates on entrepreneurial projects, including OSEntreprendre.

Career Development Stalwarts?

The newsletter offers an opportunity to contribute articles and share your expertise with teachers who are still new to Career Development.

Career Community News will also feature updates from the “Directors of English Education – Career Education and Transitions to Employment” subcommittee.
